‘this isn’t the love you promised’ started out as a 4 track EP, but took on a completely different form when Frazer asked me to submit an album for the Werra Foxma SubClub, for which it was originally released in 2022.

The album is inspired by one of Ivona’s paintings – she was unhappy with the result and decided to paint over it.

‘this isn’t the love you promised’ is an ode to unfulfilled aspirations and dreams that - by being incomplete or unfinished - give way for new inspiration and opportunities, and offer up a blank canvas.
